Day 1

Welcome to Goa! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by one of our local Travelous, English-speaking representatives who will be holding a sign with your name printed on it. Transfer in private vehicle with driver from the Airport to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2
Goa

A full day city tour commences with an introduction to waves of pleasure. You will proceed to one of the historically famous beaches of North Goa like Baga, Candolim, Anjuna, Sinquerim or Calangute and satiate your thirst for water sports. Feel the thrill of the sea as you surf on the crest of the waves or skim the surface of the water in a jet boat. Not to be missed is the joy of lifting off from the soft sand into the sky as you parasail over the crystal blue waters.

Next, we take you on a Shopping Bonanza. Shop till you drop exploring the exclusive high fashion designer and trendy lifestyle stores in search of creative artefacts, curios, traditional arts and designer wear. Of course a shopping spree in Goa would be incomplete without experiencing the hustle and bustle of the famous flea markets (Anjuna on Wednesday and Mapusa on Friday) where haggling and bargaining are the fun of the day! Explore the Panjim local market and take back a souvenir of your memorable sojourn in this magnificent paradise.

Continue on a historical journey discovering the famous sights of Old Goa. Soak yourself in the tranquil atmosphere as you explore the St. Francis of Assisi Church, built in 1661, it contains gilded and carved woodwork, old murals, depicting scenes from the life of St. Francis. You will also visit Asia"s first exclusive Museum of Christian Art displaying sacred art objects of Christian traditions prepared by local Hindu artists (closed on Monday); the world heritage site of the Basilica of Bom Jesus with its Iberian exterior and its lavish interiors that enshrine the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier; the starkly beautiful Convent of Saint Monica, the construction of which began in 1594 while the church was competed in 1605; the Se Cathedral, the largest of the Churches of Old Goa, also known for its numerous altars, built during the reign of King Dom Sabastiao and the Viceroy's Arch built at the end of the 16th century to commemorate the centennial of Vasco da Gama's discovery of the sea route to India.

Conclude your tour with a walk that takes you on a journey through Panjim"s historic past. The walk gives you a spectacular overview of Panaji, Fontainhas, Patto Bridge and the river Mandovi.

Day 3
Goa

Enjoy a half-day tour to the Sahakari Spice farm. Get ready for some fun and adventure. You will visit the Sahakari Spice Farm, which is situated amidst lush green surroundings at Curti-Ponda. You will be accorded a traditional welcome with Aarti, Kunku and Garlands.

A place for relaxation under the dense forest cover, an aroma of a variety of genuine Spices coming from the trees grown around the farm, guidance on the type of spices and treatment for various diseases, sumptuous lunch in traditional Goan style, and other modes of entertainment, all this and more add to a memorable day.

Day 4
Goa

Slow down and enjoy the tranquil tempo at your Mediterranean style resort. Relax by the sandy beaches and soak up the sun.

This evening, enjoy the experience of a Goan Night Out. You will visit either one of the happening Saturday night bazaars - Mackies or Ingo's Night Bazaar where can you find everything under the sun from porcelain, Turkish hookahs, mojris to ancient artefacts, religious deities, pashmina shawls, Mesopotamian and Sumerian beads, quartz and calcite crystals, uncut gems and the list continues.

Continue your night of fun as you enjoy wining and dining at one of the most happening, talked about, nightlife in Goa - Club Tito"s. Shake a leg and let your hair down at this spirited hotspot! OR Pamper yourself and splurge on a candlelit gourmet dinner at J&A's Little Italy. Mouth-watering, authentic Italian food served in the riverside garden of an old fisherman"s cottage.

 

Day 5
Goa

Unfortunately, we say goodbye to you today. Transfer in private vehicle with full assistance to Amman Airport for your flight home. Keep the memories alive and we hope to see you in India again soon. Stay Travelous!

What's not Included:

  • Airfare to/from the Tour start point, including domestic or inter-country connecting flights, unless otherwise stated in itinerary.
  • tips and gratuities
  • items of a personal nature such as incidentals, excess baggage charges
  • airport taxes/entrance fees, port charges, foreign government departure taxes
  • Visas (unless otherwise indicated), Inspection, Customs, Immigration and Naturalization fees Additional fuel surcharges on cruises
  • Travel Insurance including Medical, Lost Baggage and Trip cancellation
  • Optional activities (golf, watersports, etc.)
  • any other activities or items not explicitly advertised as included in the price of a Tour

 

Reservations/Booking and Deposits:  To book a Tour, each Traveler (or leader of a Group of Travelers) must submit:

 

A.     A completed booking form signed electronically by the main Traveler. By submitting the booking form on the payments page, the traveler accepts our full Terms and Conditions.  

B.     A deposit of 30% of the Tour price (minimum $250 per person), is due immediately upon booking.

C.     The full balance of the trip cost is due ninety days (90) before the trip departure date.

D.      If you book your trip with us ninety days (90 days) or less before the departure date, the full cost of the trip is due at that time.

E.      In the instance payment is made by certified check or wire transfer, reservations will only commence once the check is cleared.

F.      Availability of Services and Accommodations cannot be guaranteed until a Tour is booked.  We will exercise our best efforts to book the Services and Accommodations described in the Tour Itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of Tour date, we may be forced to offer substitutes.  In this instance we will notify you as soon as possible and try to substitute comparable Services and Accommodations based on availability.

G.     Ticketing & credit card processing for international transport and other select domestic airfare pertaining to a specific country is done by a 3rd party and not included in your total land package price unless otherwise stated.

H.     Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $250 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.

       *NOTE: Certain destinations require a 30% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking and therefore, would supersede our standard cancellation policy prior to 90 days in this instance.
