Welcome to Buenos Aires! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by one of our local Travelous, English speaking representatives who will be holding a sign with your name printed on it. Your representative will accompany you to your hotel and assist you with check-in.

At Cafe de los Angelitos, witness more than a hundred years of the history of Buenos Aires. The show guides you through a whole era of tango in a luxurious and distinguished way and writes the first page of the next history. Every night 21 artists on stage invite you to share a unique evening.

Discover the beauty and wonders of Buenos Aires through the highlights of the city, including Plaza de Mayo with Casa Rosada (Government building) and the Metropolitan Cathedral. This astounding building has an incredible mix of architectural styles with an 18th century nave and dome and a neoclassical facade. The Mausoleum of General San Martin is also found here, guarded by three statues representing Argentina, Peru and Chile. You will also visit the widest avenue in South America, the awe-inspiring 9 de Julio Avenue, followed by a stop at the historic neighborhoods of La Boca and Recoleta.

Guests will have the opportunity during their stay to enjoy the natural beauty of the varied wildlife that lives in the ranch and its coasts, the flora and work with the sheep.

Wildlife watching tours guided by biologists and professionals bilingual naturalists to the various beaches of the property, horseback riding across the steppe and cliffs, hiking trails of varying length and difficulty, mountain biking, interpretation of native flora, birdwatching, livestock facilities tours of the property (seasonal), and walks in the dunes fields.

Sea lions and thousands of elephant seals have chosen these beaches for breeding and birthing. Whales, orcas, penguins and dolphins may be sighted from the estancia's 15 km of coastline. You can watch a wide variety of inland and coastal birds, and see many of Patagonia's native terrestrial mammals.

El Calafate

Today, embark on an adventurous excursion of ice trekking on the Perito Moreno glacier. You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Los Glaciers National Park. At the lookout point, you will have plenty of time to marvel at the impressive sight of the Perito Moreno Glacier. By boat you will sail to the starting point of your trek. After a brief explanation about the history of the glacier, you will tie on the crampons that will help you walk on the glacier. Enjoy the silence in this bizarre landscape. In the late afternoon you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Note: Only applicable for people between the ages of 10-65 and for people with good health.

On this excursion you will explore the beautiful scenery around Bariloche by following the Circuito Chico. Your first stop is Cerro Campanario, where we take a chair lift to the top (3444 feet). Here you get mesmerizing views of lakes Nahuel Huapi, Perito Moreno and El Trebol, the peninsulas San Pedro and Llao Llao, Victoria Island, mountain tops Otto, Lopez, Goye and Catedral, and of the city San Carlos de Bariloche. At Llao Llao, we will visit San Eduardo Chapel and we'll see Puerto Panuelo (Handkerchief Port) on Lake Nahuel Huapi's shores. We continue our journey towards Lopez Bay, located at the foot of the Lopez Hill. We cross Lake Moreno at its most narrow point and drive along Lagoon El Trebol (the Clover) before returning to Bariloche.

Estancia Rincon Chico

The Estancia was constructed in the style of an old English houses imported in the late 19th century and is common to find in traditional Patagonian ranches, with a surrounding gallery and large deck on the front. Only 30 meters away, and with the same architectural line, is one of the first houses on the property that was brought by boat directly from England in 1897.

The guest house has 8 comfortable rooms with a private bathroom with bathtub in each, and can be assembled as needed to accommodate individual parties.

The living room has a varied library of books about the fauna of the Peninsula Valdes, renowned author's photo books, various publications of scientists who work at the ranch, and a DVD player to watch documentaries including highlights made on the property by film crews as National Geographic, BBC, etc. All meals are served in the dining room, which is adjacent to the living room and is decorated with antique furniture that belonged to the family. The wine bar is located in the dining area.

  • Airfare to/from the Tour start point, including domestic or inter-country connecting flights, unless otherwise stated in itinerary.
  • tips and gratuities
  • items of a personal nature such as incidentals, excess baggage charges
  • airport taxes/entrance fees, port charges, foreign government departure taxes
  • Visas (unless otherwise indicated), Inspection, Customs, Immigration and Naturalization fees Additional fuel surcharges on cruises
  • Travel Insurance including Medical, Lost Baggage and Trip cancellation
  • Optional activities (golf, watersports, etc.)
  • any other activities or items not explicitly advertised as included in the price of a Tour

 

Reservations/Booking and Deposits:  To book a Tour, each Traveler (or leader of a Group of Travelers) must submit:

 

A.     A completed booking form signed electronically by the main Traveler. By submitting the booking form on the payments page, the traveler accepts our full Terms and Conditions.  

B.     A deposit of 30% of the Tour price (minimum $250 per person), is due immediately upon booking.

C.     The full balance of the trip cost is due ninety days (90) before the trip departure date.

D.      If you book your trip with us ninety days (90 days) or less before the departure date, the full cost of the trip is due at that time.

E.      In the instance payment is made by certified check or wire transfer, reservations will only commence once the check is cleared.

F.      Availability of Services and Accommodations cannot be guaranteed until a Tour is booked.  We will exercise our best efforts to book the Services and Accommodations described in the Tour Itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of Tour date, we may be forced to offer substitutes.  In this instance we will notify you as soon as possible and try to substitute comparable Services and Accommodations based on availability.

G.     Ticketing & credit card processing for international transport and other select domestic airfare pertaining to a specific country is done by a 3rd party and not included in your total land package price unless otherwise stated.

H.     Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $250 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.

       *NOTE: Certain destinations require a 30% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking and therefore, would supersede our standard cancellation policy prior to 90 days in this instance.
