Day 1
London

Welcome to London. A Travelous representative awaits your arrival holding a sign with your name printed on it. Transfer in private vehicle with full assistance to your centrally located hotel.

After you've had a chance to relax and have a cup of tea, transfer by traditional London Black Cab for a unique private orientation tour of "London's Hidden Treasures". Your "cheeky chappie cabbie" will be your guide for the afternoon making the most of not only his qualified guiding skills but also the legendary "knowledge" that all London Black Cab Drivers have to pass before being allowed to drive the iconic vehicle. He'll take you through the back streets and lesser known routes making the most of your time to see some of London's world famous sights including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, & Piccadilly Circus before heading down to the City. See the modern financial district that stands side by side with the historical sites, like Saint Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, & Tower Bridge. Stop for photographs and learn the history of each site, along with many sides of London very few visitors get to see.

Day 2
London

This morning, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and begin your private "Ticket to Ride" - full day London Rock Tour focusing on the Beatles!

Although they started out in Liverpool, it was London that made the Beatles. This was where they became a global brand, so it's no surprise there is a wealth of Beatles connections in the capital. Over 50 major Beatles sites are listed on this tour, charting the "Beatlemania" years from 1962 to 1970, and their solo years thereafter. No other London Beatle tour covers as many central London sites and locations in a single tour, or in such an entertaining way! Enjoy lots of stops and photo opportunities including where 'Live at the BBC' recordings were made, the Decca studio, where they failed their first audition, The Abbey Road Crossing (and yes, you do get to walk across!) The tour includes a live commentary from your Beatles specialist and all round Rock enthusiast, so don't be surprised when you also hear all about the Rolling Stones, Hendrix, Bowie and others along the way.

You"ll have time for a lunch stop at Sticky Fingers, owned by Bill Wyman the bassist of the Rolling Stones and home to some fabulous memorabilia, not to mention good food, good music and good times! (meal not included although we will make a reservation)

Day 3
London

Today, take the opportunity to discover London at your own pace and visit some of those "must-see" attractions. With your "Hop On Hop Off" Original London Sightseeing Ticket, you will be able to stop off at any of the classic attractions for a more detailed visit. We recommend the COCA COLA LONDON EYE for a bird"s eye view of the city from the world's largest cantilevered observation wheel. Your Hop On Hop Off ticket also includes a free Thames River Cruise. (Bus ticket and London Eye entrance included)

For those Beatles enthusiasts still looking for a fix, we recommend a stop at the Beatles Shop on Baker Street; this is London's first and only Beatles Shop. They stock a large range of new and original 60's Beatles memorabilia including t-shirts, posters, records, autogrpahs and collectibles both new & old. Just across the road is the "It's only Rock n Roll" store, covering all the other classic British Rock groups. Stop at the British Library in Kings Cross for an unlikely visit to the Sir John Ritblat Gallery - where you can view napkins and old birthday cards covered in scribbled lyrics to now-famous Beatles songs that John, Paul, and George jotted down whenever inspiration hit them - "Help!", "A Hard Day's Night" & "Yesterday" among others.

Day 4
Liverpool

Transfer by high speed train from London's Euston Station direct to Lime Street Station in the heart of Liverpool. Duration is just over 2 hours. Your reserved First Class seats include refreshments.

Early that afternoon, your local private guide will pick you up from your hotel for a 3 and a half hour tour of the city covering everything Beatles-related: extraordinary stories about the Fab Four; all the childhood homes, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, St Peter's Church (The meeting place of John and Paul), Eleanor Rigby's Grave, the birthplaces of Ringo, John & George, The Art College - the meeting place of John and Cynthia (first wife) & Stuart Sutcliffe (first bassist), the Liverpool Institute - School of George and Paul - and much more!

Your first evening in Liverpool is free to enjoy the friendly atmosphere as well as get used to the Liverpudlian accent! The pub is usually the best place to start and before long you'll be involved in a conversation with the locals about who the best football team in the city is.

Day 5
Liverpool

Today, you're free to use your tickets to the "Beatles Story", the world's largest permanent exhibition purely devoted to the life and times of The Beatles. Located in the newly renovated docks, The Beatles Story will take you on an atmospheric journey through the lives, culture & music of the world's greatest band. Within the docks, you will also find a itude of galleries, art instalments, boutique shops and some great bars & restaurants. Afterwards, experience Liverpool from another perspective by taking a trip board on one of the Mersey Ferries. The cruise will take you past the iconic Liverpool skyline including the Three Graces, stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site of Albert Dock and the two Cathedrals. The newly recorded commentary also includes fascinating details about The Beatles performing on the Mersey Ferry and the part ferries played within the Mersey Beat scene of the 1960s.

Tonight is your final evening in Liverpool, so where better to spend it at the Cavern Club. The original home of the Beatles and where there is live music every day. Entrance is free Monday-Wednesday but if you are visiting Thursday-Sunday we'll pre-book your entrance and include it in your program with no extra charge.

Hard Days Night Hotel - Deluxe Room

Day 6
Liverpool - London

Travel by high speed train from Lime Station in Liverpool back to London. Duration is 2 hours.

Transfer in private vehicle from Euston Station to your hotel for check in.

This evening, a farewell dinner on board a Thames River Cruiser awaits with a live band covering a selection of classics. Enjoy a sumptuous 4 course dinner with wine as you sail London by night, cruising under the iconic Tower Bridge and glide past the Houses of Parliament. Of course, after your Beatles Experience, there is one last twist. You"ll arrive for your cruise in another British classic, and much loved by the members of The Beatles - a vintage Mini Copper! Let your driver entertain you in a leisurely "transfer" in one of these wonderful restored classic cars as well as getting your own "selfie". Return private transfer included back to your hotel.
